Who I Am: Hello! I am a documentary filmmaker currently working on a project focused on the housekeeper and cleaner community in Washington, D.C. We believe that housekeepers are some of the most perceptive observers in the city, uniquely positioned to see the most authentic and interesting sides of life here through small, everyday details. What I Offer: Full Compensation: You will be paid your standard hourly rate (or above market rate) for your time. Flexibility: We will not interfere with your work. We can either hire you to clean a space while we film and chat, or we can conduct a paid interview during your off-hours. Strict Privacy: Your clients' privacy is entirely safe. We do not need real names or specific addresses; we are only interested in the "stories" and "quirky details." We can also blur your face or keep you anonymous if you prefer. Job Description: This is not a standard cleaning job posting; it is an invitation for a paid documentary interview. We are looking for 2-3 housekeepers who are willing to share interesting anecdotes from their work. Throughout your time cleaning homes in D.C., have you encountered any amusing situations? Have you noticed quirky habits or fascinating details about the homeowners based on how they organize their space or the items they keep? We want to hear these stories! If you are observant, love sharing stories, and would like to be part of a film that highlights the invisible workforce of this city, please reach out! In your reply, please briefly introduce your experience and share one small, interesting detail you've encountered (please do not disclose any real client information). Looking forward to hearing from you! Please visit to view full details and to apply. Lots of jobs to choose from!
